Cookie Policy
Last updated 6 May 2026
This page describes the cookies and similar browser storage that Barabara uses. We keep this list short on purpose: every item below is required for the service to work or to stay secure. We do not set advertising, marketing, or third-party analytics cookies, and we do not sell or share your browsing data.
What we use and why
Authentication
Cookies (set by Clerk)
Keep you signed in across page loads and protect your session against forgery (CSRF). Without these you cannot use the site.
Preferences
Browser localStorage
Remember small UI choices — for example which inbox you last viewed and whether you dismissed an in-app banner. Does not leave your device.
Error monitoring
Browser localStorage / sessionStorage (Sentry)
Capture unhandled errors and slow page loads so we can fix bugs. Replay data has all text masked, all inputs masked, and all media blocked before it leaves your browser. No marketing or advertising profile is built.
Because each item is necessary to deliver the service you have asked for, we rely on the “strictly necessary” basis under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and do not ask for separate consent.
Third parties that may set cookies
A small number of providers help us run the service and may set their own cookies on the pages where they appear:
- Clerk — authentication.
- Stripe — only on checkout / billing pages, for fraud prevention and to process payments.
- Vercel — hosting; may set short-lived cookies for deployment routing.
Your choices
Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage from its settings menu. Blocking the items above will stop you from signing in or using parts of the site.
If you would like a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or want it deleted, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we add anything new — for example optional analytics or marketing tools — we will update this page and ask for your consent before it loads.
